Daniela Cuartas, originally from Medellin, Colombia, and currently living in Brussels has dedicated the past 12 years to the dynamic world of logistics with DHL across nine diverse countries. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Strategic Direction of Operations and Innovation, Daniela has been involved in various facets of the logistics operations. She has successfully implemented Lean Six Sigma methodologies, optimizing processes and enhancing efficiency across departments within the express network operations and customs at DHL Express Europe. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in handling commercial tender processes in the Americas, working closely with multinational regional and global customers. Over the past five years, she has also been instrumental in designing tailored logistics solutions for regional and global customers at DHL Express Europe.

Recently, Daniela has embarked on a new chapter by joining the DHL Supply Chain unit, where she is dedicated to developing and enabling innovative Global Circular Service Logistics solutions. Fueled by her passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility, she aims to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Daniela is deeply committed to making a positive impact on society. As a leader of the DHL Helping Learners program in Europe, she has spearheaded the refurbishment of over 3,000 decommissioned IT equipment from DHL Group, providing educational resources to schools and non-profit organizations in 26 countries across four continents. This initiative not only promotes digital education in underprivileged communities but also has contributed to the reduction of over 10 tons of electronic waste.

Outside of work, Daniela finds joy in exploring the world through travel and embracing her passion for scuba diving and free diving.
