Fabio MALLAMO
Director Powertrain, Operations and Product Development, FEV
Dr. Fabio Mallamo is Technical Director in FEV Italia, having the responsibility of the engineering activities in the areas of Propulsion and Product Development.
He received his Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2000 and his PhD in Energetics from the same university in 2004.
After his PhD, he joined Politecnico di Torino as a Researcher, then he moved to General Motors Powertrain Europe in 2006, where he started his professional experience in the Controls and Calibration area, becoming responsible for the calibration development of all the Diesel engine families from 1.0L to 3.0L displacement. In 2011 he left GM to found his own start-up company (Leap), focused on the creation of software tools for the development of automotive propulsion systems, starting in the same period his collaboration with FEV Group, where he eventually moved in 2014.
