Davide Casini

CTO - Italdesign

Davide Casini graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 1998.
He joined Italdesign in 1999 where he worked as CAE Engineer for 5 years. He afterwards covered the role of BIW Leader for two years before moving in 2006 to China to manage the setting up activities of Italdesign office in Shanghai.
Got back to Italy the year after, he joined the project-leading department working as Technical Project Leader for European and Asian customers and, for four years, from 2010 to 2014, as Technical Coordination Responsible of Audi projects developed at Italdesign.
Appointed Head of Vehicle Safety and Functional development in 2015, to coordinate the teams of active and passive safety, numerical simulation, aerodynamics, thermal management and air conditioning, Davide has progressively gathered new professional experience in the management of strategic projects in challenging sectors, as digitalization and innovation.
On November 1st, 2021, Davide Casini took on the position of Italdesign Chief Technical Officer.
