Business Development and Institutional Relations - Continental Automotive Italy

Since 1st of June 2016 Alessio Sitran is responsible for the Business Development and Institutional Relations Practice at VDO brand, Segment S3 of Continental Automotive Italy (Continental Group)
Graduated cum laude in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste (Italy) and post-graduated with a Master of Sciences (MSc) in Transportation Sciences from the University of Hasselt (Belgium), Alessio has 20 years of overall experience on European policies and legislation, of which 18 years of experience accumulated in the transport domain where he shows in-depth and consolidated knowledge and background in assessing impacts of EU legislation in force in the commercial road transport sector, with specific focus on market, social and employment-related dynamics, digitalization and servitization processes and, eventually, road safety, all areas in which he publishes extensively in the literature.
Alessio is national coordinator for the Aftermarket HGVs Working Group of ANFIA (Italian Automotive Components Manufacturers Association), and actively participates as a member to several working groups both nation- and EU-wide level on topics related to transport and logistics. Alessio is also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Servitization in the Automotive Sector at the University del Piemonte Orientale.
