Giulia De Masi

Principal Scientist - Technology Innovation Institute

Prof. Giulia De Masi is currently Principal Scientist at Autonomous and Robotic Research Center at Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Visiting Faculty Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, within the College of Engineering.
She was Post-doctoral Researcher in the Polytechnic University of Marche and Visiting Researcher at Hitachi Research Laboratory, in Nara, Japan.
In 2008, she joined a leading worldwide operating Company in the Energy Industry, working in the R&D, for Innovation Projects in Advanced Engineering Services and Technology department. She has 50 peer-reviewed publications (including journals and conferences) and more than 40 reports for Industry.
She is currently the Principal Investigator of 3 projects with international partner Universities. She is leading a team working on her main scientific interests: Swarm Robotics, Collective Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AI.
