Andrea Tonoli received his PhD degree (1993) in Machine Design from Politecnico di Torino and joined the faculty in 1994. From 2017 full professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. Founder of Mechatronics Laboratory of Politecnico di Torino. Coordinator of Automotive Engineering MS and BS program. Research in vehicle electrification on chassis and powertrain system: active, passive and regenerative shock absorbers; vehicle dynamics control; powertrain hybridization and energy management.
