Cataldo Basile is associate professor at the Politecnico di Torino. He is the Academic Advisor of the Laurea Magistrale (Master of Science) in Cybersecurity and mentor of Student Team pwnthem0le, which participates in international CTF competitions and specialises in offensive security. His research interest is in automating the analysis and mitigation of computer network risks (automotive, corporate, industrial) and modelling software threats and attacks to develop techniques for protection and attestation.
